Delete Your Account
Last updated: September 2026
You can delete your Ryder Guyana account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and it removes your personal data from both our database and the sign-in system behind it.
1. Delete it in the app
This is the fastest way, and it takes effect straight away.
- Open the Ryder app and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete Account, read what will be removed, and type DELETE to confirm.
You are signed out as soon as it finishes. If you have a trip in progress, finish or cancel it first; the app will not delete an account in the middle of a ride.
2. If you cannot open the app
Email support@caeautomations.com from the email address registered on the account, with the subject line “Delete my Ryder account”. Include the phone number on the account if you have one. We confirm the request came from the account holder, delete the account exactly as the app would, and reply to let you know it is done.
Base and administrator accounts are deleted this way too rather than in the app, because they hold records that belong to other people, such as a fleet's trips.
3. What is erased
Your profile, your sign-in identity, your name, phone number, email address and photo, any documents you uploaded (licence, insurance, national ID), your vehicle details, your saved places, emergency contacts, messages, ratings you gave and received, and notifications.
4. What is kept, and why
A trip belongs to two people: it is your ride and the other person's job or journey. Completed trips therefore stay on file for the other rider or driver and for safety and tax records, but every link to you is removed first, so nothing on them identifies you.
We also keep a note that an account with that account number was deleted. It holds no personal details and exists only so the account cannot be rebuilt by a session that was still signed in.
5. Before you delete
Deletion cannot be undone. To use Ryder again you would sign up from scratch.
The Privacy Policy covers your other rights over your data, including asking for a copy of it.
